Network Settings Apple Computers
If you are experiencing network slowness and inconsistent issues on CSHL-WiFI, CSHL-OC, or GUEST networks, please check the following settings are disabled before reporting a problem.
Apple Computers:
Open System Settings
Inside of the Settings panel, please select WIFI
Inside the Wi-Fi panel, select Details to the right of the connected network
Turn off “Limit IP Address Tracking”
Select OK
If you see CSHL-WiFI, CSHL-OC, or GUEST under known networks, please select the three ellipses in a circle to the right of the network name and turn off “Limit IP Address Tracking” here as well.
** If you are connected through a wire hardwire connection, please select Network - Ethernet - Details and make the same change.
