To resolve this issue, please complete the following steps:
Steps:
- Open System Settings (Apple logo in Finder, at top left -> System Settings)

- Select Network
- Choose the network interface: Ethernet (wired)
- Click Details… (or Advanced…, depending on macOS version)
- Select 802.1X from the sidebar
- Uncheck: Enable automatic 802.1X authentication
- Click OK
