This guide explains how to access voicemail, check messages by phone, forward your phone, and clear deleted voicemail messages when your mailbox is full.
🌐 You must be connected to the CSHL network or VPN to use the voicemail web tools.
🏢 Community phone extensions do not have voicemail and are not assigned to individual users, so they cannot be managed online.

Sign in with your CSHL username and password
Select Web Inbox
From the Web Inbox, you can:
🎧 Listen to messages
🗑️ Delete messages
♻️ Recover messages
Important:
After reviewing messages in the Inbox tab, select the Deleted tab and permanently remove messages to avoid mailbox limits.
Note: Community phone extensions do not have voicemail and cannot be managed online.
Dial 516-367-5000
At “Enter your ID”, enter your 4-digit extension, then press #
At “Enter your PIN”, enter your personal PIN, then press #
Deleting an emailed voicemail does not permanently remove it from the phone system.
Deleted messages remain in the voicemail trash until they are manually cleared.
To empty deleted messages:
Dial 516-367-5000
Enter your 4-digit extension, then #
Enter your personal PIN, then #
Select:
3 = Review old messages
2 = Deleted messages
Then choose:
1 = Review deleted messages individually
2 = Permanently delete all deleted messages
Important: Menu numbers may vary depending on the current status of your mailbox.
